We know why you're here. Let's get started.

First off, I want to say that this will take a few weeks but my deadline is March 28, 2015. With that being said will not be an overnight install, so just bear with me as this is a huge process.

I plan to purchase the entire setup in this order:

  • Trunk Setup
  • Management
  • Rear Bags
  • Front Bags

Secondly, without help from "Oh Damn, It's Sam" on StanceWorks website this would not be possible at all. I wouldn't have considered the idea without his dedication to this project even being a complete stranger, and of course my friend James who is going to help me do the entire install.

Third, all my products have been and will be purchased through Bagriders.com, the service is fantastic and you will receive a personal "salesman". They'll be able to answer all of your questions, and assist you with anything needed along the way. They also pricematch, which is awesome as I found lower prices on many sites but wanted to order from them due to their customer service I had experienced.
My representative is Alex, and I'd highly recommend him.

I'm going to attempt to explain my process, and the parts required, then when the time comes for install i'll write that up.

First off, my entire trunk setup will take place in the spare trunk area. My spare will not fit anyways with my current wheel setup and how low I am so goodbye! Here's the sizing if anyone is looking for it. Due to the "small" space we have in the false floor I opted to use the pancake tank from Airlift and eventually upgrade to something more "showy".

Basic Part List

Management:
Accuair Switchspeed with VU4 and eventually upgrade to eLevel.

Compressors:
Dual 444c compressors, with 2x 40 Amp Relays, 2x ÂĽ check valves and 2x power kits.

Tank:
AirLift 4 Gallon Pancake (200psi)

Gauges:
Triple Gauge Kit, until I can figure out the tablet gauges or pick up the digi-gauge LED.
http://bagriders.com/modlab/products/TRIPLE-GAUGE-COMBO-KIT.html

Water Traps:
3/8 SMC Water Traps
http://bagriders.com/modlab/products/AVS-WATER-TRAP.html

Leader Lines:
19" Leader Lines
http://bagriders.com/modlab/products/19-INCH-LEADER-LINE.html

Air Line:
3/8 Line

Tank Drain:
Running an electronic tank drain, wired to my current switch panel up front. There will be a relay to only allow the switch to be toggled while the car is off to avoid dumping the pressure while the car is on and in motion.

Fittings:
I'll start a list on another topic, but for the most part all the connectors are 1/4" PTC sizing for convenience and easy obtainability.

Bags:
Front: (2) Aero Sport Bags (no brackets)
Rear: (2) Air House 2 Aero Sport Bags
Brackets: (2) Aero Sport Threaded Coilover Brackets (BC BR Caliber SRT4)

Sealant:
Rectorseal T+2

LASCO Pink Thread Tape (Thicker than Teflon)

Trunk Setup

Again, huge shout out to "Oh Damn, It's Sam" as he's the one who took the time to map all of this out for me. My pen and paper doodling skills lack when it comes to precise fittings and I'm a very visual learner.

This is verison 2 of this render, after discussing the project we added more. You may be wondering why there's so many fittings? In order to clean up the install I'm mounting everything underneath the tank. It'll avoid running lines all over the top of the tank and I can hide things much better.

At this point, i'm still waiting on a few boxes to show up for my trunk setup. I decided to start piecing everything together without goop or the thread tape just to make sure I have everything (which I highly recommend as I forgot a few things.)

  • Forgot 2 more 1/4 PTC T's
  • Need a threaded fitting for the center "manifold"
  • Forgot a 200PSI safety valve (THIS IS A MUST).
  • Forgot to buy water traps

Just for a visual reference, I also circled the parts I forgot to pick up for anyone trying to place a name to a object.

Sick project. Definitely will be following your progress.
Welcome back Fail, glad to see I could drag you back for this. It's going to be so good.

Disposable income, haha. I made sure my bills were paid and decided to live very sparingly for the next two months. I even told my best friend he'd get a birthday present two months from now because I had more important things.

Yesterday I placed another order for parts. Ordered some fittings that I missed prior, or broke this weekend due to overtightening. Also picked up my gauges early to start making a place for them to sit, and they told me if i stopped there shipping was $40. Free shipping limit was $240 away, so what did I do? I took the bait and got free shipping. Picked up some stage 3 stuff way early that way it could be fabricated way before I needed it.

what do you have in mind for wheels and tires once you get all the bag setup in place? don't you have 19s now?

:worthless:Well......we want an update!

I need a shirt! It definitely looks gutted! We want bags and we want them now ;)

Today we got most of the electrical system wired up, just a few more ends to button up. Then install all 4 bags and turn it on. We got delayed due to UPS not delivering the package even though it's sitting in our towns UPS hub. Nobody could confirm why it wasn't sent out and they won't allow me to pick it up until the day it'll be delivered.

The install so far has not been "difficult" per se if you take your time. The downside is its very time consuming. I've had a friend helping me for 9 hours and only got the wiring partly finished, had I've put 6-7 hours in it prior to today.

I've never done an air suspension setup, so i'm attempting to take my time attempting really learn the system. Once everything is functional I'll start moving things and cleaning it up a little bit but for now function is the biggest problem.

I was doing a little thinking last night about your setup, and I think everything looks good so far; the only thing I think would concern you is the noise that the compressors will put out while your tank is refilling. I don't know if the compressors got any quieter since the last time I bagged out a truck, but the compressor that I had was relatively loud...might annoy you after a while. I would hook one up to some power and see if the noise will annoy you before making any final line cuts and adjustments. If it is too loud, you could always mount them upside down under the spare tire area, since you don't have that massive muffler anymore. Another suggestion would be maybe to put some sound deadening material under your spare tire door...may help with the noise abatement.

I know they'll be loud, but I was hesitant about mounting anything under the car just due to scraping and weather. I've got a nice layer of sound deadener right now, and plan on adding more soon to deaden a little more and with it being under the false floor it'll be a little quieter. They sell silencers now, I could always pick a pair up when the time comes.
