my 2013 jeep patriot is a basic package with no power anything (no power windows, seats and mirrors). would i still be able to use a keyless entry universal key? if not, how much is it to install the keyless entry system?

Yes, I bought mine on eBay for about $35 with a trunk actuator (they normally only come with 4 actuators).
