2008 Jeep Compass AWD CVT to 2013 Jeep Patriot

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if a CVT transmission from a 2008 Jeep Compass will work in a 2013 Jeep Patriot? Both of them are AWD

Is there a interchange area on the forum that I have not found after looking?

Hi Victor, welcome.

If you go out to this site Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market, they show that the 2008 to 2013 is considered a non-interchange. The interchange range is from 2007 to 2010 and 2011-up. I'm not sure the exact reasons why, but it would be a good question to ask whoever you're considering buying from.
