We ordered a 2014 Patriot Limited last week. Not a first time Jeep owner, but a first time Patriot owner.

We've previously owned:

1977 Cherokee Chief
1995 Wrangler Rio Grande
1994 Cherokee
1999 Wrangler
2001 Cherokee Limited
2003 Wrangler Rubicon
2006 Liberty (Deisel)
2010 Wrangler Rubicon (currently)

Looking forward to the Patriot. Any good sites for aftermarket stuff on the Patriot?

Welcome to the Patriot club! I recently got the 2013 Patriot and love everything about it thus far. Drove it for the first time in the snow today and the traction control works wonders. Huge difference going from a RWD truck to this thing lol.

Welcome!

I've had several Jeeps before also. The Patriot does better than most Jeep folks think, or give it credit for, but that's OK, we smile more at the gas pumps.

No Jeep waves for us, and looked down on by Wrangler folks.

My dream Jeep is a JKU Rubicon. One day when I no longer have to commute to work everyday.

Looking forward to the Patriot. It will be the wife's daily driver. The Chrysler T&C has had its day. Still in great shape but since moving to the west side of Missouri, the snows are larger and we have had to leave it more than once.

She wanted a little better gas mileage than a Wrangler or we would likely have to Wranglers. My Wrangler Rubicon handled the hill the T&C failed on with the ice and all. I know the Patriot will be a great vehicle for her.

Wife was headed back to work after lunch and saw a Patriot that matched ours (color and model) on the front of a truck going by. We are pretty rural so most likely headed to a few other dealers down the road before heading back through here. Hoping it will be here later today.

If the Jeep was here, I'd be in the garage messing with it.
That's quite understandable, though I can see how that'd be a problem if you have a significant other to worry about. Even more so if there's miniature versions of yourself that need tended to.

Well, I now the Patriot was completed on the 17th of February. Sent by rail on the 28th. Has been promised to arrive on the 3rd, 5, 6, 11, and the 12th of this month. Still waiting. I've been at my dealer at least once when they called the holding lot. Still nothing. It's only a 7 hour drive to the factory from my house. I'm amazed that it has taken almost a month to get it the last 65 miles.

I received and filled out my survey already because it was only good for 10 days. Good thing there was an option for "Don't know" when asking about delivery and condition.

It would be different if I hadn't been told repeatedly the vehicle was guaranteed the arrive on a certain date or the next day at the latest. Once again, today I was told it was headed to the dealer today and no vehicle. Almost a month to ship this thing 7 hours away.
