Definity HT 235/65/17s and a little plasti-dip.
The future will be ProComp 7032-6065 rims and some 225/70/16s.

They work well in this environment.

You running those or was that a just for fun pic?
Just for fun. They are off that Liberty in the background. I want to go put all 4 on and see how it drives though.

245/75R16 You would make these fit muhaha!

TJL, I was highly debating those tires in that size and I almost pulled the trigger! But my better sense got the best of me and I figured I really don't need that big of a tire. (Even though I still think it's awesome!) :smiley_thumbs_up:

PPiekarski your Jeep looks awesome! I love the Hankooks and just ordered my set today! Should have my wheels and tires by next week and I'll be posting up pics. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Thanks! Ive since removed and sold the side bars. I love these tires and they do great on grainy sand!!!

do the bigger tires and lift seem to dog your pat down? I'd love to put a lift on mine, even though it is 2wd. just wondered how drivability is now
Depends on the tires, but yes, a larger tire will make it seem like you are starting in a higher gear, depending on what size you get.

I have a 30" tire which is 2" bigger than the stock tire, or about 7%. So when I go to start, instead of being in first gear, I am starting in 1.07 gear.

But more important is tire width (friction) and tire weight. I have VERY heavy tires. and that I think is the thing that causes me to "feel" it more. If I were to go with a tire of the same size that was a lighter tire, i probably wouldn't have the same feeling of heaviness.

It really is about the width causing a larger contact area with the road, but that totally eliminates wheel torque.:pepper:
In our case the front end steers much more positively, input is far superior and more assured. You will have a heavier driving feel as well and far less roll. under steer.
You also have to remember that larger tires have a deeper tread and often have a more open tread pattern, so in my case an HT design was all our 2-wheeler needed.
Hard to believe that if you start with a 205 on a base Patriot you can move up 4 tire sizes, I recall moving up only one size on any of our first four Jeeps.

Do they clear the spring perch? If so, I would def test them out. they look sweet...

I cut that spring bracket thing off when I installed my lift. These tires probably wouldn't based off of others pictures. The biggest problem with these tires is all the plastic in the wheel well, as far as I know currently.

are they good off road and do they make them in a 15in and do they rub
If you are talking about the Hankooks yes they make em in a 15"in. This is my 1st time owning a set, but I am confident in them knowing many people from Wrangler guys, xterra guys, Tacoma/FJ guys, and tons of full sized truck guys giving these tires nothing but rave reviews and respect.

I'll post up a tire review later this winter as we can get some good icy snow conditions here in Idaho. (I had the duratracs before which were amazing in snow) I have confidence in this tread pattern that they will hopefully be as good as the duratracs (which were the best winter A/T tire IMO).

The Procomps do not come in a 15 to my knowledge.

They don't rub if you don't do the PWM. the PW will stop the tire dead mid turn. lol. I flattened out the PW as much as I could without cutting it off, then used a heat gun to "weld" the fender liner back together. I still get some phantom rub on certain corners, but it's very minimal. I'll work on the liners a bit more if I start to notice any excessive rubbing.
