Looks cool, needs more low ;)

Just picked up my wife's new ride last Friday. 2014 FDII Latitude. The wheels and tires finally arrived today, so I bolted them up. So far so good and no rubbing, but I will keep an eye on it. RRO lift will be here tomorrow, but I don't know when or if I will install it.

Wheels- Method Race Standard 16x8 0 offset, weight 24lbs
Tires- Toyo Open Country AT 235/70/16, 29" OD, weight 31lbs

According to the bathroom scale the wheel/tire weigh 7lbs each more than the stock 17" AT's.

That combo looks really good. Really good.

Just got new Yokohama Geolander A/T-S's put on my Jeep yesterday....225/65/17 on my satin black MSW rims. So far I love them, super quiet on the highway and def. have a more rugged look than the stock Wrangler SRA's. I haven't taken any pics yet, but will get them up as soon as I can take some.

That beadlock look looks so tough! Great combo!

Has anyone run wheels with significantly less backspacing than stock, (probably not the correct terminology), without a lift? Any issues? I found some amazing 16" wheels and would think they will widen the footprint. Please help! (sorry if this is beating a dead horse...point me in the right direction :) )

I would say there wouldn't be an issue besides the obvious wear and tear from pushing out the wheels some.

The tires may stick out from the body, some people don't like that. And your Jeep will probably get dirty from your wheels sticking out.

It all depends on your backspacing. I like to measure in offset though, which is the distance from the mounting point of the rim to the center of the rim.

Stock Patriots I believe have a positive 40mm offset. Guys with lifts are probably looking for +10mm to a 0mm offset.

Awesome help...thanks! I dont want the "gecko" look, like a 90's ricer but want some added width. Here in AK, (without a substantial carwash budget), all vehicles are gray except in summer...LOL ;)

Awesome, first one Ive seen same color as mine...black wheels it is...found a "streetlock" I really like! Do you have a pic from the front or rear with the 0 offset? If I understand this correctly now, (thanks to the feedback in this thread), the 0 offset is the wheel centerline, correct?

New Hankoook ATM's!

Just got my new Hankook ATM's installed in 235/65 R17's. My Pat is an '11 Stock 4x4 with 1.25" hub-centric spacers. Was running discontinued Michelin Cross-terrains in 225/65 R17, which were nice and quiet, but were patched and plugged over time and not under warranty. After reading nothing but good reviews on this site and others I pulled the trigger! Fit fine with spacers, no rub at lock, oh, also had cut out pinch welds.
