"Daddy don't jeeps go "overland"?

"Why yes son."

"Then why does that one say "UnderGround"?"

Well son, that's cause that is not just any ordinary Jeep Patriot. That's the Patriot Revolution.

Just kidding, but couldn't you just see that commercial?

Anyway in my original quest to get my jeep as close to the SEMA Patriot as possible I had ordered the "Mopar UnderGround*" Decal and its been put on now. Thought you might like to see it.

* Mopar UnderGround is a group similar to Fords SVT that designs Chryslers show vehicles including the ever drooled after Orange SEMA Patriot.

Oh, then you would think this is just sick then...

I still have two of those to put on, as well as a white "Revolution" front window banner.

Those are trial runs... trying to get ideas... I'll probably take my site address out, as well as Bavarian Mountain since I am the only Off Roader in Bavaria with a Patriot.... But if anyone has any ideas let me know.

haha... I am from the United States... and that is not excessive. It's only about 3-4 decals. Think about any Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. They have hood lettering, they have Jeep Lettering on the quarters and many owners put a front window banner on it not to mention any other parts decals they get with lift kits etc...

Now you have me curious. Do you think this is excessive?

Trust me thats not paint...

The Wrangler to me is not excessive because it is creating the overall look with a fairly consistent idea. Having a bunch of small stickers that do not appear to be related plastered everywhere is guady.

Your right to each their own... people seem to like it in person and it seems to fit the motif I was going for... blending the Liberator I and II with the Orange SEMA Patriot. So I am happy with it.

Reason I went with "UnderGround" rather than "SkunkWerks" is the UnderGround replaced the Skunkwerks after some legal intimidation...

Thanks Schoat333... I was actually beginning to doubt what I had done... But trust me I wasn't going to take them off...

To me that specific design definitely went over the top which is why they aren't on the Jeep! But like I stated before I am still looking for ideas. Thats the reason I am adding them in phases I want to make sure thats how I want my 'Riot to look like or what I want it to portray... I may still put the front banner on but I am undecided, but I think that the "Trail Tested" decals are too much.

For the wrangler posted, I can see why the owner went that route because all of the vinyl ties into one large patriotic theme. Tons of smaller decals just look splotchy and won't carry a theme in the same regards.

IMO... The "Revolution" and "MoparUnderground" work well. The website on the window looks kind of like a cheap advertisement (not to mention a competitor to JeepPatriot.com! :p). A window banner and anything else would probably be over the top for me.

lol... Gaze you hit it on the head... it's just that. In fact it only cost me about 20 bucks for two of the sider banners you saw, and an additional rear window banner that will not be put on! The "Revolution" decals were $20 for the set of three as well. The "Trail Tested" decals were $8 a piece but I do not like the current design so they will not go on either.

I too think I am nearing the edge, and I will probably have custom billet badges made to replace the "Trail Tested" Decals once I find a good design.

Nice! Love the hampster logo...especailly since I traded in an 02 Dakota R/T 5.9L for the Pat! Not that the Patriot doesn't move out when properly motivated by the GO pedal, but it's not exactly head snapping. :D I wonder if we could do a play on words/logo's here as well...instead of Hemi powered, maybe "Hami" powered?

NOOOOOOOO...

People already think the Patriot is a 'cute-ute'. We need not fester the idea with hamster logos and 'Hami Powered'. There's nothing wrong with a 4 cylinder, it has plenty enough power for the vehicle. If anything 'Hami Powered' should be used for the Hemi since it is such a gas HOG!

Great design work and outside-of-the-box thinking, I just don't think dumbing the Patriot down at this stage is a good idea; especially when we're trying to get builders to make stuff for it. Just my 2 cents.

To each their own... Excessive vinyl and badging just doesn't go over very well in the US.
Neither here in Ottawa Canada.
On the other side of the river, however, Gatineau brats are known for putting all types of false badging on their Honda Civics. Type "R" and type "S" are not uncommon on crappy old base model Civics with nothing modded except the coffee can exhaust. I've seen too many Tiburon SE's with T (Tuscani) badges. Luckily, those goofy kids don't buy too many Jeeps otherwise we'd have many FDI's with Trail Rated badges and vinyl too.

SkunkWerks should be the ones legally intimidated. The orginal trademark "Skunk Works" belongs to Lockheed Martin and has been around since 1943.
