Both of mine are recalled for this. Wondering what the fix is and how long did it take? Are the dealers even doing the repair yet? I haven't checked with mine yet.

When I log in to Jeep.com, there is a message stating my Jeep has the recall on it. I assume the dealer is able to start doing the software update now, but I haven't gotten around to calling them. At least my understanding is it is just a software update...
I was in the dealership this morning to get the 32K "Well Baby" check and the guy next to me in the lounge was having the recall done. It took less than 30 minutes for him to get in and out. My dealership is geared up and "gettin er done".
I had my oil changed yesterday and they told me the recall notice popped up so they did it too. Oil change, tire rotation, regular check seemed to take the usual amount of time. It is just a reprogram, might have added 15 minutes or so. @Freewillie mine was for child restraint module.
Mine is being done right now... Apparently I am the first person to bring mine to this dealership for it to be done because they hadn't heard of it and had to look it up.
Mine got done today. I guess now if I get in an accident, the airbags and seatbelts will do something different than it did before. Since I haven't been in an accident in the Jeep, I will not notice the difference.
Just got my letter in the mail yesterday. Models 2010-2012 are affected. The seatbelt pretensioner can fail and the side airbag curtain can fail to deploy during low speed roll over events. Good to know it won't take long. They make these recall letters sound so ominous.
Got a recall notice in the mail about this, this morning. Dealer did it for me this afternoon. Took about 15 minutes from leaving keys at service desk to having them come tell me it was ready to go.
