Oil change and tire rotation
hey 480, what style K&N do you have? I know they switched from a rectangular filter to the cylinder style...I ordered an E-series cylinder style one, and was wondering how easy the install was for it.

Notice any improvement in MPG/performance?

Mine is the cylinder style BROHIO, it was fairly easy just hard to get to the back screws! My only advice is to make sure its seated properly on the bottom! Its kind of a tight fit. As far as performance goes you can fill a little something extra. Mpg seems about the same.

I'm diggin the swag man! Lookin on your website for the other pictures haha

* I like the other black rims...not the Cragar Soft 8s...the MB whatever's look way better!

Today I got my wheel spacers put on and rotated the tires while I was at it, then promptly got stuck in about 10" of thick suction-y mud when I parked a little to close to the lake. It took about 40 minutes of digging with sticks and filling the ruts with rocks, trying to drive out, and starting the process all over until we finally got it out. I stood on dry ground pulling on the tow strap by hand while coaching my wife through driving it out. Fun day.

The first and last shot give a pretty good idea of what the spacers are doing for me, and no more rub at full lock!

Bondi, it is deceiving. The sun was low and I was getting a ton of glare through the windshield making it worse

480, it's Lavon, a path off the highway down the side of a causeway

Washed with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner. I was impressed with the shine! Detailed the interior. My Compass got a wash with the Meguiar's (didn't need it really) since I was so impressed with the results on the Patriot.

What was the purpose of the Tow Strap if you did not use it ? Were you hoping somebody would show up and pull you out ? Did you use all your muscle and pull the Patriot out yourself ?

Actually, I did pull it myself. Instead of standing in the mud pushing, I went about 30' behind the Jeep on dry ground and pulled. Every time we gave it a go, I was pulling the strap. And yes, the whole time I was hoping someone would show up and help... it wouldn't have taken much.

I would be too! I can't wait to buy sliders later this year!
