The Subaru Mobile has a Tow Strap hooked to the front of it in the first picture. Oh yes lets drag in through the rocks. The ole thrash and bash, whatever works. The toyota looks like a thrasher too. Yes lets drag our nice new Patriots through the rocks, whatever it takes to get there. A bit of bodywork here and there just GIT er There.

That looks like lots of fun, stack some rocks put one by the front wheel so patriot can go another couple feet. Then get some people to push in another spot on the trail. If you want to go on the trails then get something that will drive it on its own. I guess at my age which really isn't old, I see no purpose in what they are trying to do in the Photo. I'll just get in one of my Jeeps that can handle that terrain and leave the Patriot at home cause it ain't made for that kind of wheeling, it's too fragile IMO. If that's all a person has is the Patriot and they like to do moderate trails then buying the Patriot was and is the wrong choice. My 5 cents worth.....

Yep, according to the story I read that's the way it sort of went.
I guess the guy with the FD1 really wanted to give it a try, so they decided to let him.

Thank You. I used to fish the rivers with my friend in his little boat. One time we couldn't get back up river because it was too shallow so we got out with our waders on and pulled the boat up the river. I said to my friend, this really sucks cause it's a pain in the a$$ to get back up river, too much work. Anyway long story short is I went out a week later and bought me a brand new Jetboat that would go through ankle deep water. I took care of that problem kinda costly though..
