More like chirp outs.

Then the traction control kicks in and you just die in place.
Mind, I'm rowing a CVT, maybe a manual gives better burn outs.

I had someone pace me along the lane as I was coming up the merge lane.
You could tell from position of the vehicle, type of vehicle, driver's age and posture that they were running me out of room, not just being oblivious.

So I just slapped the auto stick down a notch or two, got it going and pulled in (safely) in front of him.

He had to have been surprised at how much squirt I had. 170+ hp is lots of squirt. Maybe not much stump pulling but get the revs up around 6,000 and these things move it along pretty good.

yeah, chirps if going straight, burnout if turning :D My lil CVT does alright.

Nothing as it is parked in the Garage been in there awhile. I did receive a new K&N air filter for my Patriot today. It was setting by the front door when I got home from work today. I ordered it from Summit Racing, fast shipping. I'll install it later, too hot outside WTF. Oh I did have my new rims installed and I must say, the Patriot looks waaayy better with the new rims. I still haven't taken photos so this is a WORTHLESS THREAD!!!

OK, since it's been raining for over a week here, I took the Patriot up my test hill. It was looking pretty torn up today, so I guess a few people having been testing their cars out on it too. :p I was happily surprised that I could get up there with 40psi in my stock tyres. But the car was squirming around a fair bit. Coming back down all I could do was ride the brakes and steer. With sensible tyre pressures the grip would've been better, but then clearance would become a problem. I've got some nice designer mud and grass splatters now. :p

looking good creation! how long does it take to install the headlight hid's how difficult? today I hit 12345 on the odometer!

"Finished" Plasti-Dip and finally blacked out the muffler. I say "finished" because I'm not sure I like the final look, at least of the front. I may have to extend the black from the previously silver bumper trim down to the skid, but more than likely I'll wait to see how it looks with a bullbar installed :D

Unfortunately, they didn't have any flat black high heat paint at Lowe's at the time, so I went with semi-gloss. It works, I guess, but the muff's a lil shiny lol.
So, for those wondering, the side trim was done first, back on Easter. The back silver piece a couple weeks later, followed by the tailgate step a week after that. The front and muffler were done today. I have pressure washed a few times, by hand a couple times. I've also tried the Back to Black stuff, but did not use it on the trim. We've had a few good storms, many 90F days with lots of sunshine, and all has held up, except for where I backed into an unseen bucket in the garage on the back, which peeled up a section of the Plasti-Dip. Cut the peel off, sprayed a few layers, and it's practically unnoticeable unless you know what you're looking for (some of you may have already noticed where). The stuff is cheap, durable, and I would recommend it. Now I need to get my fronts tinted and do something about the wheels :D

Installed my dash cover. Not too bad I'd say. I wish it was a tad darker. I ordered a charcoal color but in reality it's a little different than it was showed on the picture.
