Hey everyone!!!!

Ive looked at a lot of posts about the rear end squeak, and everyone says the dealer installed a bunch of parts...... no one has said what parts..

I refuse to go to the dealer due to im a mechanic, I like to do everything myself, Ive replaced the Control arms, and the sway bar bushings, and lubed every other bushing, AND IT STILL SQUEAKS!!!!!!!!!

Every post ive seen has been different, I want to be sure on what it is before I put any more money into it.

Thanks guys!!!!!!

The total estimate is parts 924.76 and labour 737.45 a grand total of 1662.21$ I have never had anyone sitting in the back seat, it has never been offroard or anywhere a dirt road! This is a ****ing peace of scrap, ill never buy a chrysler product again!

Well, in order for them to replace the ball joint, the dealer has to replace the entire control arm which automatically repairs the "right front control arm bushing". Make sure they are not double charging you (in both parts and labor) on one repair. You can also buy these parts aftermarket and go else where for the repairs.

Wow, that dealer saw you comming! Its real simple. Dear service mgr, what part was actually causing the sqweek? And when he says " all of them" i say no, you tell me which exact part was sqweeking, cause they sure all wern't.
Just cause a dealer throws parts at something becuase the missed on the first 'guess' does not mean you have to pay for them. They suckered you bigtime.

My Grand Cherokee has a front end sqweek, they changed both upper and lower control arms, sway bar end links and finally sway bar bushings. Total time was over 8 hrs of labor and 20 parts with all the bolts too.

I said, so what was the cause of the noise,'sway bar bushings. Thats what i paid for ,1hr labor and $20 for the bushings. Cause as i explained to the mgr, not my fault you guessed wrong 4 x before you got it right.

Hi. I own a 2016 jeep patriot. I am a self taught mechanic. I have switchout out the rear upper control arms, the lower controls arms, the toe links, the swaybar bushing along with endlinks, greased the bushings with silicone eververthing, white lithium everything, mobile synthetic grease and xtra tacky, and lucus green grease. I replaced my rear shocks. None of this worked. The floor board creak is remains in my 2016 jeep patriot.
