Hey Bunker

Thanks for the reminder! I forgot about Rockport. Last time I was down there was probably 5 years ago when I was going to Mount A...I lived in Sackville for a little while and we went exploring down in Rockport in my girlfriend's corolla one day...as you can guess we didn't get far...that place is awesome though!! DO you think we could make it all the way to the point at the water?
I would be up for going out and checking out some trails down there for sure...2 is better than one.

I think I am going to get the Masterkit1 out of Quebec...they look good enough and they accept paypal and e-checks which is good since my credit card is maxed out. The RRO lift looks good too, but I hate having to deal with customs fees and everything. I decided to get new tires after the lift so that I can get the biggest possible. The only problem is that I have the 17 inch wheels and I kind of want 16s.
I am also a MTA student, we should for sure meet up sometime and head down there. I head back to Ontario in a week though for the summer but perhaps in august or september we could head down to rockport and see how far we get! I am hoping to get the Masterkit1 lift as well, it seems the best quality. Maybe in the fall I will have a lifted Pat too with some new tires and we can get out there together, like you said two is better than 1 for sure. I feel your pain with the 17's, I think the best option is the geolanders, or buying new rims and keeping the 17's for summer tires.

Yeah, if we both had a lift and some tires by then we wouldn't have to worry about anything really. Who knows, by then I may even have bought a winch. That's exactly what I was thinking too with the wheels. have 2 sets of rims and tires...that way if you want to go mudding throw on the nobby tires or for a long trip put on street ones. I think I will sell my motorbike and just throw all of the money into the patriot.

I forgot how early university gets out...I want to college just recently (after MTA) and the courses are 10 months each year!

Anyway, let's keep in touch and definitely try to get out when you are back in the area. Sackville is close and I don't mind driving down there...besides, Silver Lake is always a good place to cool off after...unless it's polluted now

Here's one from today.
At the 2:40 mark or so is the toughest part.
I've driven this road a dozen times or so, and unless I pick the right line at this spot, the lack of ground clearance gets me. I have hit the skid plates a lot.

Its hard to tell in the pics but this hill was steep as h3ll. The only thing stopping me was traction as the wheels were spinning. Esp all the way off in 4X4 lock. Great times. If you got it use it, This is a great fun vehicle.
Looks like all you need is a set of traction tires and you'll be good to go.

BTW, nice mud vids.

Local beach and dirt...

The bumper just barely cleared the log. The front wheels cleared with a lil bump. The Pats flat belly just slid right over. And the rear wheels had no problem. :pepper:

I was worried about the rocker panels and the plastic cladding, but the Pat made it easily and without a scratch....:pepper:
