Yesterday I was reflecting on the day I bought my patriot, I was thinking over all the different options and features that were available. I assume all of us here went into the stealership and picked out all the options that best suited our wants/needs. Even if you ordered your's and picked every last characteristic! my question for you all is. If you all HAD to change one detail, what would it be??

HAD... or COULD...

I think I got it right the first time.

Well for me, the one thing I would do differently would be a sunroof. I really like sunroofs, but I don't like leaks. I thought about this a lot when ordering it, but decided not to risk it. That being said, my Jeep stays in a garage most of the time and it never sits under trees, so I don't think I would have had the problem of drain tubes clogging up. Everything else is pretty much exactly what I wanted

I also think I got mine right the first time. after all we picked them out exactly the way we wanted them! but going back to how I originally stated the question if I
"HAD to change one detail, what would it be??"
I guess I would get the 2.4 instead of the 2.0!

I think I got mine right too.

I wanted a work van/SUV/CUV/whatever that gave me great mileage, carrying capacity that I needed and didn't look like a used up soccer van or a something all bling and flash.

My work chews vehicles up...everyone else runs auction vans and break down a lot.
we put many miles on hard roads and my Patriot just chews it up, giving great mileage, carrying what I need and keeping me comfortable. Cheaply too...purchase price was great as my 4x2 has only the CVT and air...nothing else and it was steeply discounted.

In four or so years I'll toss it to some kid with probably 200,000 +/- km on it and be happy.

Now if I was buying it for myself, not work...I'd have ticked a couple more boxes...sure.

I orderd mine exactly how I wanted it. I got the 2012 limited FDII with pretty much every package or group available. Then I just deleted what I didn't want and topped it off with the lifetime bumper to bumper maximum coverage warranty. Still waiting for it to arrive and the wait is killing me lol.

I wish our seats had the lumbar support.
I second that notion!

If I could of I would of gotten the 70th anniversary edition, leather seats, sunroof and Boston acoustics with the tailgate speakers. I was looking at one just like it in the showroom they were asking 28,000 for it. For that price I would of gotten a wrangler.

Oh man your still waiting, I'd get wicked anxious waiting for it as long as you have. I couldn't sleep for the few days I knew I was picking mine up. If I was you Idk what I'd do especially knowing you got it just how you wanted it too. Have they told you what part of the building process it's at yet?

Yeah the wait is killing me lol. I was checking the status on the VOTS page every day, And it seemed there was no progress it was still saying "scheduled for production". Then I saw a post that mentioned that the VOTS site is sometimes wrong and does not always give an accurate report. So I called the 800 number and to my surprise they said it was already built and scheduled to go on a railcar on 4/22/12. So I'm happy that it's sooner but still the anticipation is driving me nuts lol :hammertime:

I really like the dark green color better, so that would have to be it..

That's sick, so you should get it soon. Getting a new vehicle always makes me anxious but not as much as it was with my Pat. I had been dreaming for a few years and couldn't wait any longer haha.

Haha well that is what it comes with for the premium sound it just happens to be Boston acoustics. ;)
