well, I just reset my clock 5 mins fast (cos it loses about 5 mins a month). While i was sitting there I was thinking about an annoying aspect about cars these days that is when you are driving very slowly, in my case, off road, around lakes or reservoirs looking for likely fishing spots and everytime I get in and out I have to buckle up and un buckle the belt or I get that annoying "bong-bong" that drives me mad. Playing around with the belt, I noticed that it only has to be pulled out about 4 or 5 inches to cancel the warning light and stop the noise, so I just pull out a bit and hook it around the back door lever. problem solved.
MUDDY

I ordered the rubber cargo mat.... it arrived today from JustForJeeps.com... and it was certainly not a rubber cargo mat. They sent me the a plastic tailgate cover instead. So, that is now on its way back and I'm still waiting for the cargo mat.

Thinking mudflaps are in order too. I like to keep it shining, and the melting snow is making that difficult.

I ate lunch in mine today while talking to my fiancee on bluetooth.

I also noticed as i was sitting there that my temperature gauge was frozen at 69 degrees when it was more like 80 outside... Going to mention that to the dealer when I get my next oil change.

I think it's stupid for someone to say they don't like the Patriot because of the Dodge Caliber.. They don't even look alike.. Maybe they share the same platform but still..

Yup same platform, and mine just didnt hold up at all. I will say I liked the front end of it and the 5 speed was fun, but I wanted something I could take off road on a serious trail and not break like mine did. It was great in the city and that's about it. everything about it just felt cheap. IMO. take it for what ever you will cause some of you guys get real sensitive.

Well everyone is allowed to have opinions.. That is why you see people driving those ugly Fiats.. Not everyone has good taste in vehicles in my opinion. My 2010 Latitude doesn't feel cheap at all. Everything inside of the Patriot is very nice and seems well worth the money I paid for it. If you don't like your Patriot sell it to someone who will. Then don't come onto the forum and complain about it. Your only trying to start something.

Just like I said sensitive. I did sell it and bought a FSJ for my trail rig I dont need a daily driver jeep. that what the pat is good for was my point. Fiats are ugly but thats who owns Jeep now right? we will see what the future holds for these pats. I hope yours will last for 20 plus years, and you dont ever have to pull anything over 2500lbs. Good luck too ya all and enjoy your pats.
