I live in NJ and went and visited my old college buddies in NC. I am 25 and really proud of my riot. When i showed them the new jeep they asked if i was planning on dropping the kids off to soccer in my "mommy mobile." To say the least i was pissed off, but now i am left wondering if i could be driving what some see as a soccer mom truck. Please send words of encouragment.

In some people's opinions, yes, you are driving a mommy mobile.

In some you are not.

Whatcha gonna do ya know...?

Soccer mum car

4x4 with 7 seats used for Children transport..."as the Hummer in Cars says I've got dirt in my rims"

what do you use your Pat for?

the Pat handles fine for an SUV should be proud of owning a JEEP mate ;)

Dear Comrade Che ,maybe all of your friends are communists and are still saving few more $$$ for the new cars made China that will be coming to your hood in next couple of years.

When we insured the Pat and they printed our pink slip the type of vehicle came up as "Station wagon." After a moment of irritation, I figured that it probably comes with a lower insurance rate. So, I'm all for the soccer mom status, as long as it saves me money. :)

It ain't no freakin' mommy mobile! Sure, it may do a great job packing all the gear for the team, but then you can drive it right over that hill to the playing field! I've got 600 miles on my Pat so I goosed it today. Y'know it can really haul! I was happily impressed with the turbine style rush, it felt like it could just keep going faster without breathing hard. I have no patience with clods who knock someone else's car. A friend of mine was very upset when her friend, who owns a Volvo, said "Do you want to be known as the little old Lady who drives a Camry?" With friends like this who needs enemies! If you clods are listening, it is very poor manners to dis another person's car, PERIOD. If You think your set of wheels is better than your neighbor's, it's fine to say how much you like your car, but don't dis your neighbor's car. You are the person who comes out looking small and insecure. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad:

Damn..I wish MY mom had one of these when I was a kid! :D
...sounds like those people are JEALOUS!!! :p
It ain't no freakin' mommy mobile!
DITTOs on what Randoo, MEGULA & johnda said.

Every young mother I know in these parts demand that their vehicles 1) NOT be a minivan [better dead than have your friends & neighbors see you in a minivan] and 2) ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE three rows of seats [even if the 3rd row is so pitifully small & inaccessable as to be rendered worthless]. There are no exceptions to these rules.

Your Patriot AIN'T NO MOMMY MOBILE!

Be pround, stand tall: you're driving a Jeep that's built in America's heartland! Other cars and trucks may come and go, but I guarantee you that anyone, anywhere in the civilized world - be it today, tomorrow or years down the road - will immediately recognize your Patriot as a Jeep: the first, the original, the real thing. It's all about DNA and as they say, "It's a Jeep thing!"

sisters mommy mobile is a 4x4 liberty,
She is a soccer mom, and kids see more offroading than most adults,
Patriot can be what you use it for,
makes for a great mommy mobile,
or can make for a decent offroader,
offroading part is yet to be tested,
either way, enjoy your ride,
unless they are driving a Rubicon, or a lifted wrangler, just laugh off what they say

one of them drives a wrangler, and the other drives a lifted F150, but they are beaters. they are my buddies so they were just bustin balls i'm sure so i'm not that worried about my ride. i love the riot, it is a nice compliment to my 350Z.
