My jeeps camshaft sensors I've replaced both but the car still won't start. It tries to but just won't start. It acts like it's not getting enough fuel. This happened after a cold spell, it started then went inside to warm up but then stalled and won't start. Please give me ideas on what to do.
Thanks

There are common "possible cause" items between the two camshaft sensor errors, which you can see from the info below (ground, power, etc).

I'd check the harness from the PCM to the sensors for any damage, and make sure the connector on the PCM is properly seated.

I had that code and the sensors from the local auto parts store did not work. I went to the dealership and they said to only use OEM sensors, this was confirmed by three other professional mechanics. Something about jeeps computers don't like aftermarket sensors. Also, even through you may get the jeep to start but some CEL lights can only be reset by the dealership.

May sound like a scam to sell parts but there prices are not much higher and there's a history of this being true. OEM sensors worked for me and the dealer cleared the codes so it would pass inspection.

Does anyone know if it would be the computer that needs replaced?
In the info from the service manual posted above, the PCM is the source of the 5v supply for the camshaft position sensors, and is listed as a possible cause for both P0340 and P0365.
