Hi, can anyone tell me what is the proper part name for the coolant manifold on the engine block at the transmission end of the engine. I need a new one but am having trouble finding it on parts lists. I will post a pic of it soon. I thought it was a thermostat housing as one of the main radiator hoses connects to it but there is nothing inside it.

I finally found it by searching using the numbers on the part. Imagine that! It is called a
Cooling Hose Flange
Sorry, someone had asked before so I though I'd take a wild guess.

According to the part number on the side (038 121 132) it's a Volkswagen part - Engine Coolant Outlet Flange.

Thanks Sandstone. I ordered one through Aliexpress. I believe that engine is used on a lot of the VW group vehicles. I have bought intake hoses from Europe before - cheaper and quicker postage than genuine Jeep. I'm in Australia.
