Perhaps you could assist a bit more- Has anyone confirmed if the seats are interchangeable between the Patriot/Compass/Caliber (not the electrical stuff, but the metal parts)?

I am working on identifying the actual differences (in terms of parts) between the regular and fold-forward versions of the Patriot passenger seat.

I am reluctant to do anything to my stock seat, but I went to the junkyard and spent $50 on a fold-forward seat from a caliber (they didn't have a patriot in stock). Minus the airbags, it looks the same as the diagram.

Eventually I will be able to find a non-folding Patriot seat at the junkyard and do a side-by-side comparison. That is, unless someone felt like helping me do the same by posting pictures...

Here's the link for the non-fold flat passenger seat so you can compare the parts with the fold flat:


If you click on a part, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on "What This Fits" it will give you a list of compatible vehicles.
Sometimes it's just the Patriot and Compass, sometimes the Caliber and other Chrysler cars too.
