I have a 2008 4cyl jeep patriot. This jeep has been great and I absolutely fell in love with it. The only problems I've ever had with it was having to change coil packs and plugs.
One day I went to a gas station I normally avoid and hot gas (not sure this had anything to do with my problem) and that day it ran fine. The next day it went dead on me while I was sitting at a light and it crunk back up fine with no further problems. The next day I started to work and it crunk fine and seemed to run fine but when I got to the road before pulling out on the highway it goes dead, I put it in park and crank it again and it goes dead so I had to give it some gas while putting it in drive and made it back home.
Now it cranks and idles fine with the auto choke kicked in but soon as it starts to slow down it goes dead and after a few tries it won't start at all. Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.
