Hello I have a 2014 patriot and I have the same issue not sure where its coming from but, it very loud. I cant find the front bearings hub anywhere. Only found bearings which they need to be press. This issue would it be under warranty since this vehicle is 2014??

Unfortunately, the front bearing need to be pressed in. Since it's a '14, the warranty is long expired, and 3rd part warranties usually don't cover bearings because they consider them a "wear item".

The other option is to buy the entire knuckle with the bearing installed, and they are somewhat expensive.

You might be able to get a used one from a salvage yard for less that would get you by.

With either of those options an alignment will be needed... and those are getting pretty pricey

I've been noticing a noise getting louder and louder as of lately. When I get up to 45 - 50 mph it seems to be loudest. It sounds like a repetitive HUMhumHUMhumHUMhum, with each rotation of the tires - that's the only way I can explain it

I'm pretty sure it's one of the front wheel bearings, most likely the front driver side. Any way to make sure which side it is? I feel a lot of vibration from the noise under my feet while driving. When my girlfriend is driving, I don't seem to feel it as much on the passenger side, and it still sounds like its coming from the driver side.

I can't seem to find replacements for the front bearings, or new hub assembly's. I can only find them for the rear. (08 Pat 2.4l 4x4 - 102k miles)

Also, how hard will this repair be? (I just did the front ball joints a few months back, that was a PITA) I'm leaning toward replacing the whole hub assembly, as the current ones are rusted to hell. I just can't seem to find any info about the actual replacement, or where you can get parts.

Any info would be appreciated! :notworthy:
Hey there I'm having the same problem with a 2016, I believe that this has to do with the off road package from the factory, the new ball joints were too short for the control arm, so I just purchased a new lower control arm w/ball joint. Now after a few months, I have a lot of play at the cinch area, with the bolt torqued to specs. Then I learned about the O/R package. My question is, is this part of the High Altitude package?
