Driver rear wheel change

Change the wheel hubs since driver side clip is GONE ( and we all know what that means, lights )have all parts except back plate for emergency brake
All out of stock, chrsyler,jeep,1auto,carparts,autozone, advanceauto
Parts crumble at touch currently

Part # 5191219ab-5191220ab
Wondering if another part will fit o rif anyone else had this issue or found a solution

This place "seems" to have them: Jeep Patriot Backing plate, backing plate assy, plate. Brake backing, rear drum brake - 05191219AB | Mopar Parts Webstore, Orlando FL

Be extra careful you have the correct part number. My third source shows 3 different sets with a running change around 12/3/2011 for the one style.

They are correct also so 0519219, 0519220 are the new transition numbers along with 68001747, 68001746
All four sent of parts work with my Vin #
Either way I have another place to purchase if needed

Thank you. Now I know what I'll be doing on my vacation. Second work in sept

Here is an update on a 2010 patriot rear right/left back plate per my Vin #

She was right, I rec'ed the right side its installed waiting for the left side now 10/16/2020 expected date.

Go to any mopar parts put the vin# in all discontinue for 2007 to 2010 patriot View attachment 92630

Those back plate part numbers are for 2012 jeep not suppose to be for a 2010 jeep patriot ( run the #'s) it will tell you doesnt fit you vechile but it does at least the right rear

Here is the update on the 2010 Jeep Patriot Driver rear back plate:

Running the vin# with online oemmopar store they stated rear back brakes numbers 68159653AA and 68159652AA with emergency shoe pad pins 68159650AB...

Now remember I'm rebuilding the rear ends upper-lower arms / trail arm bushing/ shocks/disc pads/ shoe pads

Used back brake plate from 2012 Patriot latitude on rear passenger side WITH NO ISSUES

Driver side rear was on back order until I rec'ed it today and will finish then job

So hoping using back rear brake plates from 2012 patriot to complete my rear rebuild on my 2010 patriot per OEMMOPAR.PARTS IN FLA ends this drama

My Patriot 2010 jeep with 2012 rear brake back plates parts # 68159653AA-68199652AA with 68159650AB shoe pins

These are NOT the parts that are suppose to fit my vechile BUT they do/ parts 05191219ab-05191220ab discounted

New Hub/back plate/rotors/ pads

I did not install trailing arm bushing nor did I install rear upper -lower control arms took me to long to do the hubs n plates

Even forgot to take pics until tires were put back / this was not easy on the ground in a driveway and hands are sore

I even forget to adjust the emergency brake....

Friigin patriot handles tight-tight-tight, drives like a new vechile, quite, tight with the new shocks i'm extremely happy money well spent good for another 10 yrs.

Congratulations! Glad that you finally got this sorted out and thanks for the follow up. Maybe start another thread and tell us about your strut change? Mine will probably be due in the next year or three and I am contemplating parts and procedures.

I'm also going to suggest to our great moderators to change this thread title so that your excellent backing plate info will show up in a search.

The Monroe fronts were 272368 n 272367 strut-coil assembly

Monroe rears 472401 again shock -coils / same # for both rear

(Easier in a driveway then the rear hubs ( 200 % much easier, the shock-strut coils assembly were) front left hub n control arm was a piece of cake also compare to the rears / those 4 holts holding the rear hubs to the back plate buy extra just in case and caliber bolts / stripped rear left caliber bolt heads. I'm in the northeast that loves salted road so just imagine the underneath/rear cross member no holes either or that would be next)

Shocks-coil assemblies ride much better but rears a little to bouncy

My jeep patriot is 4WD/AWD manual trany
