I have a 2010 patriot that I just got and I can’t leave anything stock, mine is the 5 speed 4wd and it’s a comfortable ride but ... what’s the best 3” lift out there for it it’s still going to be a pavement princess but I want it to look good!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated

I haven't heard of a 3 inch lift for the Patriot. 2 1/2 is the largest I've heard of, but it seems that most people with lifts of any size end up having issues with them.

Hi Robo, welcome!

There's several lift options but none are 3". The more common names are RRO (2 1/8"), Rough Country (2"), Daystar (1.5"), and STUCoils (2"). They each have their pro's and con's which have been pretty well discussed on this board.

Since you're not going off-road, you may just want to go with a more aggressive looking tire and forgo the expense, labor and potential problems with installing a lift.

With the lifts, wouldn't you look for larger tires too. My 2010 Patriot had 225/65/R 17's installed by the previous owner. I was told that when you replace tires, you should use the size set by the factory so you don't end up with speed sensor issues.
I was just figuring that the TIPM would relearn the new data & change the base line in the electronics of the vehicle. I just had 4 new 215/60/R 17's installed today because those larger tires were not installed at the same time. The front had newer tires ( More Tread ) whereas the rears were about 20% smaller. With 4WD, your tire sizes all have to be the same, just as your TPMS senors all need to be working properly so it's not tripping the 4WD! fault / warning light which means no more 4WD... This vehicle sucks & is my last Post 2002 Jeep I'll ever own.

I removed my TPMS sensors and my 4WD still works fine with no lights on (but mine's a '14)... but yes, different sized tires will definitely screw with things.

I found out what that issue was. lol, my right side headlight stopped working. It wasn't the bulb. Watched a YouTube video where the guy unbolted the ''Grounding Wire Pigtail'', where it mounts on the body just left of the pulleys/belt area. As I lifted up on it, I noticed a Black w/Purple stripe wire looked really corroded. I opened the connector, cut all 8 ground wires off of it, stripped off 1/2'' of the insulation, twisted them together, then tested to see if the light worked. Since it did, I tightened the pigtail, started the Jeep and thought I'd take it for a spin since I've been doing all my driving lately with the 1993 XJ I bought. At any rate, besides that headlight working now, both the brake light that was going on and off was fixed along with that damn 4WD! warning light. Now I just need to air up one low tire that's tripping on the ''Low Tire'' Icon. Now I have 4WD every time I engage it without it getting kicked out when that warning light would come on at 1.2 miles... I'm getting a piece of wood to put inside the vehicle so I can knock on it whenever I drive it..... All that's left is a non-working Horn and I believe I know where that problem is at, (1 of the 2 Grounding Pigtails on the front left side).....
