hi there i have a 2008 jeep patriot, i notice when its cold and i start to roll with it the engine cut, now im having a ob2 code, it say :

P0014 (generic pending) Bank 1 Camshaft 2 position target Performance

P000B Bank 1 Camshaft 2 position Slow RESponce

ive read all kind of stuff it could be, but does anyone can guide me to fix this, as far as i know those 2.4L patriot have 4 sensor on the head, how do i know wich one is bank 1 camshaft 2, and could it be a faulty sensor or what else?
thanks for the help.

I haven't a clue but Googled this:

thanks for replying, that code was 0016 mine is 0014 ive read many thing but did not found one thread yet where the owner post after they find the trouble, ive read if it was low of oil it could light that light, its a brand new oil change ive made with penzoil 5-20 and ive had 5 L in it, but for some reason i was low about 0.5-1L so i add up today to mark and erase the code before i go, ive drive about 10 miles and lights come back on, with same code p0014 Generic Pending (Bank 1 Camshaft 2 Position Target Performance) it also show on my ob2 reader in case it could help :
Fuel Sys 1 CL
Fuel Sys 2 NA
Calc Load(%) 710
ECT(F) 172.4
STFT B1(%) 0.8
LTFT B1(%) -16.4

not sure what these number meant but maybe can help some one who better with thise diagnostic.

thanks

When I get home tonight, I'll look at my Haynes or Hayes manual to see where CAM 1 may be located.

thanks a lot Guys :D you guys are great i found out i had one sensor that was broken into the engine, see viedo on youtube of sensor,

sensor was broken inside engine, i bolt a bolt into the sensor and was lucky enough to pull the bolts and sensor come with it, gave her a 20 miles drive and no codes to show :)

I've wondered in cases like that if maybe there was something wrong with the 5 volts supplied from the PCM, or the associated wiring.
