I have a 2015 high altitude. I bought it in January and ever since like February when I go over bumps and sometimes when I'm only driving straight not even doing anything there's just loud clanking sound in the front driver's wheel area. I have had it checked out by two garages numerous times and I've had my brakes completely replaced rotors and everything as well as tie rods and so forth. I have been told that there is nothing wrong up there the control arm is fine everything is fine. I am tired of this expedition of spending money and so forth to figure out what is wrong does anybody have any ideas. Like I said I'm told there's nothing wrong with the suspension there's nothing wrong with the brakes I have no idea what it could be. The plastic air dam / crappy skid plate thing bangs around I'm sure but that is not what I am hearing.

Maybe a problem with a sway bar link, or a sway bar link or sway bar mount loose.

You could try disconnecting the sway bar links from the struts, then securing the sway bar/links to the sub-frame so they can't move around, then try driving over the same bumps that made the clank and see if it's still there.

Had this same problem on my '16, ended up being a loose sway bar end link fastener

Then maybe a bad strut.

There's only so many things in that area that it could be, but whatever it is, obviously the shop(s) are missing it, which is why I suggested disconnecting the links and seeing if that makes a difference.

It might be helpful too if you post a video of it happening so we can hear what it sounds like.

I had the exact same problem, turns out that my stock sway bar links were not bad but I changed them to a heavy duty link, Moog I think, the noise went away thank goodness. The links I got also had grease fittings to keep them lubed.

Is it possible it could be a wheel bearing. I just replaced my left front with only 45,000 miles on it. I also have the 15 High Altitude edition.
