Working on my '07 2.4L, 5speed, after replacing the throttle body, i got codes p2088 and p2090 i then replaced both camshaft sensors and got codes p0100 and p0013. Still won't start. Do they all need to be reset/relearned and how?

Sorry, I won't be of much use here. After throttle body replacement, the factory service manual states "Use a scan tool and clear all fault codes then perform the ETC RELEARN function."

I researched this quite a bit and cannot find out what the ETC Relearn procedure is!!!(Can't find it in my FSM). A google search gives conflicting information. At some sites, supposed Chrysler mechanics chime in and say that you can only do the ETC relearn via a scan tool (that IS the ETC relearn procedure??): http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f18/resetting-tps-50970/

Enthusiast claim you can reset things via various methods (battery disconnect, key on/off procedures). The pros claim this only returns the PCM to default settings and is not a true ETC relearn. For instance, here is one account from this link:Throttle Calibration vs PCM Reset vs ETC Relearn. does it really make any difference? - Page 2

throttle body replacement procedure includes this:
If the throttle body has been changed, the following procedure must be performed:
a) Disconnect negative battery cable from battery. Leave cable disconnected for approximately 90 seconds.
b) Reconnect cable to battery.
c) Turn ignition switch ON, but do not crank engine.
d) Leave ignition switch ON for a minimum of 10 seconds. This will allow PCM to learn throttle body electrical parameters.

EDIT: SKIP MY NOVEL....I CAME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION AS SANDSTONE BELOW

The 2007 caliber manual I have implies the ETC relearn is done with the scan tool.

10. ETC MOTOR
Reconnect the Throttle Body harness connector.
NOTE: Measure the resistance at the PCM harness connector to avoid damaging throttle body connector
terminals.
Measure the resistance between the (K124) ETC Motor (+) circuit and the (K126) ETC Motor (-) circuit.
Is the resistance between 2.5 and 25 ohms at closed throttle?
Yes >> Go to 11
No >> Replace the Throttle Body Assembly. Disconnect the Battery when replacing the Throttle Body Assembly.
After installation is complete, use a scan tool and perform the ETC RELEARN function.
Perform the PCM Verification Test Ver. 1 (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

And then I came across this:

StarScan ? - ETC Relearn - Cherokee SRT8 Forum

"Tech authority states this procedure must be done when any ETC component is replaced/faults. Does anyone know what is being stored/reprogrammed in the pcm when this procedure is done? What user input is required (if any) during this process (gas pedal 0% then 100%, etc.).

Thanks."

All the voltage values for the pedal and throttle body.

Yes that kind of user input is required

Which sounds a lot to me like this:

http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/15...gine-drivetrain/42689-ecu-re-learn-procedure-without-disconnecting-battery.html

1). Turn ignition to Run, but do not start engine.

2). Wait for all idiot lights to turn off (last one will be the the throttle indicator - the two half-moons w/ a lightning bolt between them).

3). Over the course of 15 seconds, slowly depress the throttle all the way to the floor. Try not to waver or be too jerky, just a nice slow, smooth push.

4). Over the next 15 seconds, slowly let the throttle out in the same manner.

5). Allow car to sit for about an hour. (This is in the original procedure list, but i tried waiting just a minute and it worked anyway.)

6.) Start car and drive as you normally would.

------------------------------------------------------------

If it were me I'd try the ECU relearn and see if works. Can't hurt, right?

This is the relearn process I've read about but not sure if it is the correct one to use after replacing the throttle body. I've read on FB Jeep Patriot forums how people replace their own throttle body with no problems and they don't mention taking it in for a scan or relearn by the dealership.

I apologize to all for my tardy response.
For some reason I could not post a response from my iPhone as I was away from home.
I SINCERELY want to thank all for taking the time to do research and help me with my problem.
As it turns out it was a fuse #26, all is well now.
Merry Christmas

btw- no relearn procedure was done
