Haha, love it!
It was better than ripping off the whole bumper, no problems after the trimming even with the sketchy mounting...lol it cracked part of the fender liner too...just like driftbreaker. I didn't get enough time to straighten it out any as I literally only had enough time to sleep for 45 minutes before flying out on my next work trip. I'll have to make it a bit nicer for the wifey when I get home.

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

It doesn't look that bad, considering the circumstances.
Yeah for a chainsaw cutting a plastic bumper I was surprised myself how well it turned out. lol Last year I brought my sawzall camping to cut up firewood(big 12-14" pruning blade works great) and this year I got a new greenworks 80V chainsaw and that works amazing so I figured no need for the sawzall. RotoZips work pretty well on plastic bumpers too(that's how I did my tow hook holes).

Just curious, between the xj and zj which one do you like best for trails?
I like the looks and NP242 of the XJ, I like the interior space, 318 and NP249(with properly functioning VC) of the ZJ. Now that I'm DDing the ZJ and preparing to tear into and build up the XJ I'm debating going "smaller" on that and building both mildly...I'm also thinking of going crazy and using the Zj as a tow pig...#jeepproblems

Your bumpers are great! Ive been looking into these for my 2017 patriot as well. Been hearing some mix reviews as TAG is no longer a company and operates under a different name. Overall the quality of the bumpers are rock solid? Any bad experience with the company itself?

TAG was not the greatest to deal with, it took them way too long to deliver and 2 tries to get the correct intermediate skid plate. The build quality on the bumpers has been well tested by me and saskriot though:grin2:. Assuming WAM is using halfway decent welders there should be no issues, but I haven't dealt with them personally.

Here's the XJ

MK got the TEMA4x4 ebay lift for $75. Somewhat a pain to install, had to weld on the studs as the press fit part was loose in the strut mount and had to make swaybar extensions for the front. Other that that it rides the same as before and the 225's shouldn't rub on the inside of the fenderwells. There's a very slight vibration when accelerating hard @3500+ rpm in 1rst. Funny enough I didn't take a finished pic...lol

The Front mounting plate is actually 2 pieces held together by the studs

That's with the swaybars contacting the control arm
