So, I plugged in my battery blanket last night. The Patriot did start better this morning. It's been super cold at night here. About 1 degree or below. My Patriot is parked in my garage and it usually doesn't get below 20 degrees. I keep a small heater on a timer. I didn't plug it in for a few of the cold nights and payed attention during start up. When I plugged in the battery blanket it seemed to turn over better. I bet the battery blanket would be great for those who park their Patriot outside. I will be ordering my block heater hopefully this week.

Got the battery blanket plugged in. I really like the NOCO plug I installed. No dangling cords hanging from the grill. The battery blanket gets pretty warm. I think it warms the engine bay up a little bit.

I bought a 12 volt battery blanket. I tried it last night, but now my battery is dead. Any advice?

Wow, sorry to hear that. I doubt the battery blanket killed it. Just an odd coincidence. Was your battery old? Did any water seep out? Are there any cracks in the battery? If you find anything keep us updated.

Installed a Curt hitch on this lovely, warm, sunny, winter day in NJ.

It was a fun project even doing it single handily.

Needed a run to the hardware store for some large, washers to use as spacers for fitment purposes.

Since it's been decades since I last removed any body parts on one of my vehicles, it added to the enjoyment getting it done thanks to reading amazon reviews and checking out some videos.

Removed entire, rear bumper and not just the fascia.

Used a torque wrench for the first time since nearly forever.

The Jeepster is coming along nicely so far.

Next will be the toe hooks if they ever ship.
