Towed back to dealer

Had our 2012 Patriot towed back to the dealer. The tranny(factory rebuilt) they replaced on friday FAILED in less than 100 miles.

Finally got around to making up custom mounts for my fishing rod holders.

And by that I mean it was a collaboration with my brother since he is the CNC guy and a much better CAD modeler than I...:notworthy:

Installed Hella Supertones, using a wiring harness from Subimods

Had to install a new passenger side headlight, so while I had the front facia off, I decided to repair all the cracks, rips and tears in the plastic, take out some of the rock dings, repaint the upper and Herculiner the lower part. Gonna have to do the driver side headlight in a couple of weeks... New housings don't make the old ones look very nice...

Installed a 110 volt inverter that I picked up off of eBay. Easy install.

Nice! This has been on my to do list for some time now, and I have gathered everything except the inverter module. What year is your riot, and what is the part number for the inverter you bought?

I remember my 08' Sport having one as standard equipment . My 12 Sport did not but my new 16" Latitude has one. It's a nice thing to have, use it often.

6 hours of labor today in my 2014 Jeep Patriot. Upgraded all 4 doors with some new Kicker 6x9s (these ones have up to 90 watts RMS), and installed a Kicker 4 Channel amp (technically its a 5 channel but I wont need to use that channel). I ran some line output converters (2 of them - 1 for front and 1 for rear) from the factory touchscreen. Sounds amazing!! I took my time on it (compared to the old Best Buy days) and took some breaks, but it was well worth it!!

Mounted the resistors for my LED headlights in their permanent home. Didn't get the fog lights or switchbacks done cause I burned up too much time changing my brother's tie rods.

Well Bruce thank you for that link but the guy emailed me and said the part had already been sold...after I had already paid for it. What a bunch of Bull ****... Oh well I guess i will keep searching.

Finally got around to making my first prototype for paracord grab handles! I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Color matched(ish) cord is on the way, and rev2 of the metal piece is in design...
