welp, I have many ideas in my head which I've decided to list, these are no in order but things I am going to try to get accomplished eventually...

-New Tires, Between Geolander AT or Optima H727

-32" LED Bar for my Roof rack(this will probably be ordered tomorrow. or tonight)

-between another 32" LED bar(or smaller) for my front bumper or two 6"s spaced apart.

-splash guard down the sides
.
-special idea for front bumper and grill.. (gravel protection kinda)

- black wheels... havent decided but found a set at pep boys I like.

-Flowmaster series 40 muffler.

-HID Conversion kit

- Airfilter upgrade

- RRO Lift, not 100% I want to do it but its there.

-and for the hell of it, Amber Traffic Hazard bar for front & rear windshields.

Tires are way too practical. Wait till they wear out. Unless you get the wheels -- then you can have one set of wheels with aggressive tread or snow tires for abusing, and another set of fancy-schmancy ones for showing off with.

Patriot headlights are better than average, so skip the HIDs. I agree, go with the light bar.

If you're not out of money yet, go with the protection items -- they'll pay off in the long run.

Finally play with the intake/exhaust systems unless you really need performance.

FWIW! Enjoy. :smiley_thumbs_up:

red jeep buddies! lol and Im now between getting a wrangler or not... so im going to see what happens. until I will throw the money at something really loud. or throw money at parts to build something loud.

also for tires, Im in a place where we dont have seasons, we just have hot weather, cool weather, and a little itty bit of rain.

i bought a roof rack and crossbars for a led bar though, so i will do that otherwise the other two were a waste..

Red Jeep buddies x2. We have two almost identical Patriots: both red, both FWD, neither has much for options (roof rack, fog lights, cruise control, that's it). Ignatz, the 2008 has the 2.4 & CVT, Bullwinkle the 2014 has the 2.0 and the 5 speed manual. Ignatz is getting old (176,000 miles), but just had his second bona fide repair (RF wheel bearing). Bullwinkle has about 15,000 miles -- so far so good.

Oh, we also have a red Wrangler which has a hitch and gets out in the winter if the snow is deep. Comparing the two models, the Wrangler is arguably the best off-road vehicle on the market. However, a Patriot with 4wd is certainly capable off-road. If you do a lot of highway driving, the Patriot is far more comfortable. With dedicated snow tires FWD is sufficient for winter snow if your town's road agent is on the job. You'd have to decide how much you actually need Wrangler, but the Wrangler is far more versatile and practical IMHO.

well i live in beautiful southern california.... so i dont have to worry about snow or ice... but i would get a wrangler just as a weekender for hitting some mild trail, nothing fancy. my monster is a 7.3l f250, that f***er just bulldozes thru anything infront of it. its just a little on the wide and long side... and my baby(noname yet) has got roughly 125k on right now... my other have about 220k and one is creeping real close 300k.

For the rock protection I would replace the plastic grill piece with a metal mesh really cheap and easy to do. As for the hood I would go with this

125,000 miles and no name? Your "baby" is suffering an identity crisis! Bill, George, even Sue. Give it a name!

LOL at the review on that link. Dude thought the Jeep emblem on the hood was a decal on the deflector and got all butt-hurt about it.
ROFLOL! Read it while you can. If he has any friends they will tell him to pull it down ASAP.
