A different sort of seal problem.

I just noticed the other day when I opened my door that I could see daylight between the drivers side door gasket seal and the A post. I don't think I've seen that one yet. It's a pretty good sized gap too. I can almost put my hand through it!
It's nothing Earth shattering but it was different enough that it made me wonder if anyone else experienced this.
It's going in Wednesday for an oil change and they said they would glue the seal back on for me. (I happened to notice that there was no glue anywhere near the corner where it bends from the top down towards the bottom of the A post. Friction was the only thing holding it right there.)
Anyone else seen this particular little bugaboo?

If the A post is at the windshield, then, yes, I noticed the same thing just a week ago or so.

Running sixty;noticed it; pushed it with my left hand index finger, and for some reason made a sudden jerk on the wheel with my right hand and damned near went off the road.

I was thinking a little adhesive chaulk would be a fixer.

As for the lack of coordination, I don't see a fix anytime soon.

Why not? They are water proof so if I get a leak, I'm ahead of the game!
(And besides, I can relate to the whole round, blubbery kinda shape, ya know?) :p

Not to hijack my own thread, but that's the reason I can't get near open bodies of water anymore. People keep shoving me in and yelling "FREE WILLY!!":mad:

I'll have to check this out. Sometimes when I'm driving, it seems like I keep hearing a noise of some sort from the seal around my drivers door. Hmmm....
