how are these cvts holding up??? also whats the powertrain warranty?
Removing #35 resulted in no-start for me :/Remove #35 while you're at it...AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!
Really!? Maybe they changed the fuse layout on the newer years? My #35 is abs pump.Removing #35 resulted in no-start for me :/
#35 is pump feed for me too according to the manual. actually, thinking about it... i might have pulled #32, which in engine control feed lol... ah well, #2 was a better option for me. had my 4x4 engaged for 1 day in the snow, still clunks, but only on pavent, on the snow it was fine. I'm thinkin the tires are worn off just enough to mess with the diff. (goodyears up front, something else in the rear, all 4 are used)Really!? Maybe they changed the fuse layout on the newer years? It was the only green 40 amp that I remember...which isn't saying much#35 is pump feed for me too according to the manual. actually, thinking about it... i might have pulled #32, which in engine control feed lol... ah well, #2 was a better option for me. had my 4x4 engaged for 1 day in the snow, still clunks, but only on pavent, on the snow it was fine. They were giving out free life-time warranties in 2008-09 when I bought mine. They were fighting to stay in business at the time.Lifetime powertrain? Damn, how'd I miss that? Too late now. I did get an extended warranty to go two years over my.loan (total of 8 years of warranty). My wife has a whole 1 mile commute to work, so she will be luckyto break 6-7k miles a year.

Or a bicycle . . .
I have the 5sp manual on my '14 Pat. Shifts smooth as glass and the feel of the clutch is just right. But hey, I'm a gear head...have never owned an autotrans, although I learned on one.My CVT has never given me any trouble in five years and nearly 70k miles. I wouldn't recommend a Patriot with anything else, especially with that accursed 6-spd available these days.
