I like, how do you find the ride/quietness.

When I upgrades from my 08 FDII to my 12 FDII Compass I found overall ride quality and road noise greatly reduced. I also found the CVT was a lot more responsive.

Ride is much better, but then my 08 had almost 140K miles on it, and needed tires. Hard to remember how it was when new.

Yes, crank windows. I wanted the base sport model, with FDII, was hard to find. This one has cruise, and supposedly a block heater.

There is no flashlight in the rear dome, although there is a slot for it, so will ask the dealer.

Also, they only had one key, the other dealer is supposed to send the second one, and I do need two keys.

Also, my old one had vinyl seats, this one is cloth. And my old seat covers won't work with the side seat air bags. I want new seat covers anyway, so any advice there is appreciated. My wife made the old seat covers, so she's taking those for the Tracker. She might make new ones for this one, as long as I can find out how they work with those air bags.

I'll Scotch Guard the seats and carpet.

I also miss my side window vent shields, so need to get those and also add some mudflaps, soon.

Should be easy to figure out if it has a block heater. My cable was zip tied on the drivers side front corner in front of fuses.

Looks good Dixie! Can't wait for your driveway report next winter. On the '14, do the rear windows retract all the way down. I hardly ever see anyone drive with more than the front windows down some around here.

Congrats dixiedawg!!! That's a great looking Patriot! I can't wait to hear more about how you like this one compared to the old one. Looking forward to new photos too!

@bwpakk - My '13 let's the rear windows down all the way. I'm thinking '14 didn't change that.

I have no idea on the rear windows. One of the reasons I don't need, nor want, power windows and locks is I'm the only one in the vehicle 90% or more of the time.

Took it to Seven Springs mountain resort yesterday. Did well on the highway, and the mountains. I actually used the cruise control on the highway.

I keep waiting for this rain, thunderstorm, pattern to end so I can wax it. I've washed mud off 4 times already, but no chance to wax yet.

I have another old set of mud flaps in the garage, so going to see if those might work.

I had it loaded up on the weekend. 3 large, and one half size rubbermaid containers, my dog box, big cooler, tool box, several backpacks, 2 laptop bags, a 7 gallon water bottle, my wife, my dog, and me. I was a little more careful packing, unpacking, etc, new car you know.

Last night took several shotguns, and several range bags up to the mountains to shoot.

Awesome and about time!
And you got chrysler to make special rims that matched your paint!
