My windows decide when they want to work. Sometimes they will go up or down and sometimes they dont. Anyone else have this problem?? A little light flashes on the dash and its red with a little lighting bolt looking thing. I have had it happen a few times since we got it but tonight I almost had to park in the garage because I couldn't get the stinkin window up to save my life it finaly worked. Dropping by the service department in the morning should it be a in and out or an all day thing? Just shy of 6000 miles on it. Got it in April.

AmyK528, To me it sounds like your alternater is going. Which makes no sense. In other cars ive owned, the lightning bolt means you are not getting enough power. Could be the belt is loose, bearings shot, or many other things. I could be wrong but I dont have the owners manual in front of me. Check the owners manual and see what that symbol stands for.
If all fails, I think you better change it to manual so you can can have the control of it all the time...

That definitely sounds like an electrical problem! I would suggest you have the car looked at. Fortunately this should fall under warranty.
(For the record, never had any problem with my windows.)
