Patriot 2009, when using the indicater left or right it cuts out too soon especially when rurning right on a round about and you have to veer left to go right
The roundabouts that are popping up in MN and WI are small. Only about a 40' diameter hill in the center. Scarcely larger than the intersections they replaced. Since they are so small, I seldom have time to signal before my exit. If a car is waiting to enter on the road I plan to take, I try to signal my exit to give them a heads up so they can go. I see no reason to have the signal flashing to claim I'm going to continue to orbit the roundabout. A signal is there it communicate an unexpected change in direction. So, there is no (good) reason to signal entering the roundabout. ALL traffic must go right (USA) without exception. I just signal my exit from the roundabout.Roundabouts are becoming more popular here in Colorado (US). Honestly, I'm paying more attention to idiots who don't know what the hell it is than trying to signal my turn. Just get in, and go I say... But, yes you can get a ticket for not signaling, I understand. I regularly signal my turns and haven't been bothered by this phenomenon to date. Of course, not it will bug the **** out of me; THANKS!
There should be a rule on auto forums; if the problem cannot be fixed (without redesign and rebuild), DON'T MENTION IT!!!
J/K of course.
