WANTED: 16" rims

I'm looking for a set of stock 16" rims with TPMS sensors.

Shipped to 97405 (Eugene, OR).

Thanks!

You might check your local dealer and ask if they ever have any 16" 'take-offs'. We usually have a set every couple months or so that we sell CHEAP.

But look locally.....shipping 4 wheels/tires can get VERY expensive.

Just a thought......:)

Hmm, not a bad plan. They're right on my way home so might as well stop in and check.

I've seen a couple sets on here going for $400-600 shipped, which is definitely in the ballpark.

I put studded snows on the current rims and we have to have them off by April 1st. Checked out the price of new tires today and for anything decent, I was already looking at $500 or so...

I have pretty much what you want but I do not think you are going to want them. I bought the Tires and Rims Panda had for sale because I wanted the aluminum wheels. I just like the look better. Yes I drove from Alabama to Indiana to get them. So I have the original steel wheels and tires that came off my 09 Patriot. They only have 2,400 miles on them as they were used less than 2 months. Two issues though.

1) I had to take the TPMS out to use on the other rims. I think you are going to run into this with pretty much anyone as you either have to use them or have a warning light on your dash all the time. The only way I could see a used set for sale would be off of a junked or wrecked one. I did check a www.chryslerjeepdodgeparts.com/oem_parts.html and they sell them new for 36.48 each. I have seen them on eBay for about $100 a set. The number for the ones that were on my 09 patriot is 56053030AC.

2)Shipping to get them to you. I weighed a tire and rim this morning and one tire and rim was 48.4 pounds. Put the little plastic hubcap thingy on and you might as well say an even 50 pounds. They measure 9x28x28 inches. I check FedEx ground and UPS ground and ups was $234.76 and FedEx was $203.68 due to the fact you are about as far away from me in the US as a person could get. Just FYI the same thing shipped to Indian would have been UPS $104.88, FedEx $94.40. I am in Alabaster Alabama, 35007 if you want to price it.

I would sell them for $300 picked up local which is a good deal as the tires alone at SamsClub are $89.96 each with tax they would be a little over $400 for just the tires new. Click on my name the tires are in an album in my profile. let me know if you want to work something out.

I'm going to check with the one local dealer on Monday on the 'take-offs' that were mentioned by Big Panda. I am in need of new tires anyway, so perhaps they will be willing to cut me a deal.

That said, I may well be interested in your set, Alajoe. I was hoping to find a West-Coaster to save some of the $200+ in shipping... but ah well. I've seen the TPMS on eBay for a reasonable price, and my goal is to get this all taken care of for less than $600.

Well no luck with the takeoffs today. Guy gave me some good advice to just get tires mounted on the current rims and then watch Craigslist over the summer to put my winters back on. Ended up getting some Goodyear TripleTreads for now. Nice tires so far (100 miles in, lol).

If anyone happens to have a set of 16" rims hopefully with TPMS, I still might be interested.

Something to be aware of is that your new to the car TPMS may need to be programmed into the car's computer. If you are buying TPMS's to put into the wheels, you want to keep the documentation, tags, numbers on the sensors themselves, etc. They may be needed when you get your computer introduced to the new TPMS's.

FWIW and YMMV. :)
