Yup, picked my patriot up 2 fridays ago....so far lovin the car...what kinda gas mileage are you all getting???

4x2 Sport CVT is getting 22 city/ 19 highway (it was as low as 17). No, I don't have these backwards either.

 

4x2 Sport CVT as well. I'm getting 24city/23 highway. THat is with A/C on 100% of the time.

 

Maybe 7-I just bought the wife a Patriot Thursday in Sierra Vista-Taking on the job in a.m. to west of Sasabe along the mexborder-I have a 01 TJ too-so comparison will be interesting. I really like the pat-no power windows/locks/etc.-good to have another basic Jeep!

 

Anthem right now, hopefully closer to Scottsdale soon (long commute puts alot of miles on the PatRiot...)

Hey everyone.

I just moved here to Phoenix from Illinois, so I guess my Patriot is not an Arizona native, but it is here, LOL.

Anyways, it's a Forest Green Patriot Sport 4x4 featuring the automatic with the off road crawl ratio. The crawl ratio, by the way, also great for getting yourself out of snow as opposed to just crawling over rocks.

Same exact specs here. Green, 4x4 with the Off-road package.
I'll keep an eye out for you around town.

What part of the valley are you in?
I'm out in Avondale, and work in downtown Phx.

 

I live and work in the downtown area. I work the graveyard, though, so unless you're prowling parking lots at night not sure you'll find me. Avondale to Downtown. That must be some commute in the morning.

 

The commute is about 13 miles each way... not too bad really. Traffic is lite usually when I go in at 5:30am. It can get rough on the way home though.

 

I guess the beauty of the night shift is that since I drive home from work and drive to work during off hours I can't gauge traffic times during rush hour anymore. the 'ol 9pm to 7:30am doesn't let me experience the joy of rush hour.
