Trim panel under glove box

I had a passenger in my '14 Pat yesterday and she asked me if the trim panel was supposed to be hanging on her feet. I took a look today and it's a pad that fits under the dash below the glove box, basically covers the underside of the dash on the entire passenger side. The problem seems to be on the left side, by the console. The top corner/left side is hanging down, and I don't see any clip to hold it up or tab to tuck it behind. Is there anything that's supposed to hold it up?

Mine ripped off the other week ...

There should be two pins with 2 holes in the trim. Have a check under the dash and you will see them both there (pins and holes).

I just cut 2 new holes, pulled the pins out and put it back together.

I have the same issue on my Jeep Liberty. I think my mechanic took it down to work on my heater and never really put it back right. He may have even torn the fabric. What do the pins look like, so I know what I'm looking for?

I looked, but didn't see any pins. What I did find was a wad of black sticky stuff stuck to the bottom of the glove box. It was just stuck there and didn't seem to serve a purpose, so in guessing the trim piece was just stuck to it.

Hey miscrap,

I could not find a service bulletin related to your vehicle. I would advise you to have this condition brought to the attention of your servicing FCA dealership. Thank you for reaching out, and if you have any further questions please private message me.
