I don't mind the low height. The liberty is way too high. Low roof equals less wind resistance and it's easier to put a kayak up top, not too mention washing/waxing.

The only thing I don't like is the wheels. P215 is too small for this vehicle, should have been P225 or P235. I'd like to lift one 2 inches and throw some P235's on there.

I was just about to write pretty much the same posting... word for word. I think that shorter combined with 9" ground clearance means it is more stable on the side hills due to the lower center of gravity.

The wheels definately need to be upgraded... the rims are ok but there needs to be more meat under there with a more agressive tread. Not too much... just a little more though.

All in all,,, it looks great!

Thanks for posting them.

I am not going to sweat their looks since they will be covered with mud most of the time anyways...

It looks like it is about the same height as the little truck next to it... what is that an old S-10?!?!?

that is a sport model ... but the wheels are the aluminum's ... the only other wheels offered are the styled steel. i'm really surprised & disappointed that they're only offering alloys in that dark gray. i guess i can look for compass sport wheels on ebay (appear to be the same but not painted dark gray) and switch ... or wait a year until they realize their mistake ...

If you go to JEEP.com you will see that the height of a patriot is 64" including the roof rail , making the roof around 5 foot high . A 2-3" lift with bigger tires might put the roof to eye level to a 6 foot man . Sorry for the disappointment.

Ok...let's see how well this worked.

Sorry for the quality...they're cell phone pics, after all. And had I been there to coordinate the parking of these two vehicles, they would have lined up much better. :) I didn't take any front or back pics in order to protect license plate info.

Here are pics I took today when I saw a Compass parked next to a Cherokee.

I've got to be honest...I like the blue. As far as the shortness of the vehicle goes.....a) your still sitting higher than any car, b) some of us will be adding 2 - 4 inches as soon as possible, c) my Blazer isn't exactly the Empire State Building either.
