Before I debadge my hood n hatch....I had a thought...what if I took to the letters with a black sharpie?

Has anyone done this or similar?

I wonder? And I don't like it ....well, I will just fire up the hair dryer n cut me a proper length of fishing line.

Why not invest in a $6 can of spray black Plasti Dip?

It would look better than a Sharpie and is removable.

Also, think, really think about debadging the hatch.
From the front the lights and grill say Jeep, from the sides the wheel well shape says Jeep.

From the back, its just another box on box SUV, I think the Jeep logo needs to remain on the hatch.

Still thinking....

About plastic dip....I'd have to tape off alot n still be careful. Would have more control with a pen.

But open to suggestions.

Take off the Emblem, paint it then put it back on.

I pulled the gold Chevy emblems off my HHR and painted them flat black. It looked really nice.

I just painted all my emblems on my black Pat today with Plastidip, I swear by this stuff. It works really well and comes out great!
