temporary rear seat cover (pets)

I've generally avoided leather seats because of occasionally having to give my dog a ride. But now I have them and need to figure out protection for the rear seat.

It would only be used occasionally, so it doesn't need to support the split or folding feature, but it does need to be easy to put on and take off. It does, however, need to be secure and pretty tough (I have big dogs). And since this is going to be a 2-3 times a year thing I do not want to spend a ton of money on it.

Anyone have any experience with something I might like?

Thanks for the link on the Canvasback protector. That is definitely a useful thing, but typically we would end up with an Irish Wolfhound on the seat and gear in the back (I wish he would just lie down in the back and we wouldn't even have to put the seats down!).

My initial thought was to sew some straps on a stadium blanket, but the pet supply catalogs have a bunch of ready-made seat covers.
