Tall people - How do you fit?

Looking into a 2011 Patriot Sport and I won't have a chance to test drive it until this weekend. I am hoping some other people here will be able to answer me a quick question.....

I am 6"4'. Do the seats in Patriots go back far enough to give you ample leg room? Currently driving a 1993 Ford Explorer (i know) and I have the seat all the way back. I could manage with something less but I just wanted to get some opinions from other tall/big folks before I take a Saturday afternoon traveling an hour each way for a testdrive.

Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I am 6'4 and i love the room inside the pat. One thing on my first pat i did not have the sunroof and the extra 1 to 1.5 inch's of headroom that helps if you are tall but my 2010 has the sunroof i still fit but the roof "feels" allot closer but that could just be because that's what i am used too.

Get the adjustable seat

I had a little problem with head clearance...short legs long torso. The adjustable seat allows enough height to be very comfortable.

6-4 here. Headroom is ok. My only problem is with the leg room. I have to move the seat all the way back to be more comfortable. Lately, dunno why, I've been hitting my knees with the lower part of the steering wheel when I go out.

As you can tell from the posts, leg room is one of the Patriots strengths. I am 6 2 and have more then enough leg room. Head room is great as well, especially with the adjustable height seat. I also own a 2006 F 150 and I have way more leg room in the Patriot. But of course, the best test is to sit in one and take it for a spin. Good luck!

I agree that there is no problem with adjustment for height. I have a long torso, so my head is close to the interior roof even with the seat all the way down.

My biggest problem is that the REAR VIEW MIRROR creates a blind spot for tall people. I have to dip my head down when turning right because the mirror is in the way. I am thinking of moving it up, but there's only about an inch to play with.

6'5" here, plenty of room inside, but I don't like squatting down to get in and out - hard on the back. Also, hard to see red lights when you are the first in line - you have to duck down to see out of the far-away windshield.
