So i passed a patriot the other day and it looked awesome. I drove back around to get a better look and it had the rubicon stickers on the side of the hood, custom JEEP logo wheels ( just like the grey and silver ones that come on the Pat but the spoke sections where black ) and it was lifted and had those new goodyear dura trac tires on it.

Anybody heard of a rubicon patriot?

I will try to get a picture of it and post it so you guys can verify. I was a bit tired this morning and may have still been dreaming.

I will try and talk to the guy and get some pics.

No it was dark blue and looked pretty tall. Those wheels, but where they are grey, it was black, and it for sure said RUBICON on the side of the hood.

I saw it again and got some pics! how do i post pics with out making them a link?

Post the pics on one of the free image storage sites (Image Shack, etc.). When you upload the picture there you will usually see a little box with the HTTP address. Copy that address (which you will be pasting afterwards). Then, come here, open a reply... and you see that little yellow box with the mountain in it? Click on that and then paste the address you got from the image site. Hit ok and the pix should appear in your reply upon posting.

I'd like to see a "RIOT" edition Patriot. It would have to have a V6, and a 3 inch lift with a wrap around steel bush guard.

Either that or a 2WD, lowerd one inch, and add about 100 more HP.

I liked the Revolution one on the thread above, and that theme fits with Patiots. But if you have to stick with the "R" theme I'd go with Rebel, or after a couple of years of no Patriots the Reseruction.

OK here you go. It has been raining and snowing, so not the best pictures.
The tire size on it is. 245/70/17. that comes out to 30.5" tall. pictures are doing it no justice.

OK! I got caught on another posting. The "Rubicon Edition" Patriot is mine.
I thought the hope of a real rubicon edition Patriot would be fun for a awhile. So i'm sure there will be a few questions. Good or Bad i will do my best to answer them.
I first off have to give all of the credit of that big of a tire on a patriot to. Adam's High Rollin' Customs in Sparks Nevada.
He modified the RRO lift and a few other things to get the duratrac's to fit.
Hopefully all of you can forgive me. :)

nice work. the centerline of your hubs is almost inline with the bottom of your rockers.

curious - did you do all this on your own accord and then found our site, or have you been lurking around here for a while?

As soon as i started down the path of lifting my Patriot i found your site. It is a great site and has been very helpful.
I have never been able to do anything "just a little bit" so i went out to have at least the size tire of the SEMA Patriot.
The "Rubicon Edition" patriot came from a friend of mine. same friend that gave it the nick name. " patriot missile "
A knock off of the SEMA patriot front bumper and a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier are in the works as we speak. Pics will start as soon as they do.
