My 2007 Compass will quite soon need its alternator pulley replaced. Is there any way I could retrofit a standard non-ratcheting pulley in place of the one that's on there now? Reason I ask this is because I hate my Compass and I'm only going to put the bare minimum into it to keep it going

replacing the alternator and all idler/tensioner pulleys is why I will never buy another vehicle with a transverse mounted engine. beyond stupid how long it takes...
