Rear seat removal!!?!?

Hey guys, I'm trying to remove my back seat and I can't figure out what I need tool wise. The bolt in front seems to be like a t-60, which is not possible to find in my town. Went to 6 stores, with the max being a 45, sometimes a 50.

Has anyone removed these? and if so, what was used?
I even tried placing a chisel inside of it, but it was slightly to big for the fit.

I did find the giant torx, but I've used an Allen wrench in a torx head bolt with some amount of limited success.

Try a Harbor Freight store if you have one. Most of their chinese made tools aren't for real mechanics--but for "single-use" kind of jobs--and some auto parts stores: AutoZone, O'Reiley's, etc.

OK, just checked mine--that bolt(s) is larger than a T50, BUT smaller than a T60. I don't know if there's a T55. At this point in time, I'd try a larger set of allen wrenches, both SAE and metric.

OK, there is a T55--here's a link to ebay: www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=t55+torx

I asked this a while back but nobody ever responded even after several "bumps." Hope you get an answer cuz I would like to know as well.

Just found out. Along with the poster above you, and a guy from discount auto who happened to walk into my work, they both said the 55. The dca guy said jeep uses 55's for a lot of things, including tops to wranglers etc.

Seems like we need to add a "T55" to our tool box...

Well, I was very disappointed at my discovery of absolutely no room. But $20 in tools later, I hope I helped a few people.

Tools used: A t-55 (for the lower portion), and a 19mm socket for the back
(*MUST BE MORE THAN 1 INCH LONG***)(located in spare well)

Pictures: (some include just random measurements for as needed)

Harbor freight has a set of Torx socket tips that include a T55---the whole set of about 8 or 10 is $10.
