Well, on Thursday when I was leaving work my 4wd! warning light was blinking. So, I restarted the Pat and the light didn't come back on. I got on the highway and the 4wd! began blinking again. The traction control light came on and the ESP light came on. I pulled off the interstate and check the Pat all over. Everything was fine and it was driving fine. No problems at all!!

I drove home with no problems and no lights came on. So, Friday I started the Pat to drive to work, thinking that yesterday was a fluke. To my dismay the 4wd!, ESP, Traction Control and check engine light came on. I restarted the Pat three times and they came on every time. I called the dealership and they can't get me in till Monday. No driving the Jeep at all. Not a good day.

A good thing is that the Pat is still under warranty. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just to add, I have a little over 21K on the Pat. I bought the Pat in May of 09 and it was a still new 08 let over on the lot.

I just think the problem is a sensor, but I could be wrong.

Likely just a wiring issue, happened to me and a few others here. There is a bunch of wires under the driver side carpet that can rub and wear through the sheathing causing a short and lights to come on the dash.

This past winter I had the 4wd light start blinking as well. I had just put it in 4wd and started driving through some 7+ inches of fresh snow. I stopped and decided to disengage and re-engage 4wd and that's when I found my aux in cable from my iPod to the stereo had slipped under the 4wd lever/switch and was holding it up. After moving the cable, everything was fine and no more light.

All fixed now. It was a bad wire. They corrected the problem and said it is very common. They properly protected the wire so this problem will not happen again. All happy now and on another good note my mpg is going back up.

***All covered by warranty.****

Thanks bro. I hope Megan and you had a good Easter too!
