A year ago the dealer offered such a ridiculously low trade in for our loaded 2008 Patriot that I was totally insulted and told him where to stick it. Maybe that was because ours is a 5 speed with lots of kms but I am going to keep it forever and if we get a 2012 Patriot then we will own 2 Patriots.

 

What did you trade it on?

 

Either made a great deal or a really bad deal . . . only time will tell.

I traded just about straight for a 2011 Saab 9-3 xwd, and was able to get them to include a 4yr 50000 mile no cost warranty.

 

Good to get some real world data. My 2010 barely has any miles, is pampered, still shines. I'm hoping to get around what you got when I trade it in. Whatever car I trade it for, I'm hoping it comes out to a net of $20,000+ for me (trade-in value, incentives, and negotiating price off).

 

We traded ours in september of last year ('11) it was an 08 Limited 4X2 with 43K miles. All options - Leather, nav, sunroof, sound group.. can't think of anything else.

We got $13.5K in trade.
