bought some CVT fluid and I'm afraid it won't be compatible. It came from AutoZone but says nothing about Jeep or Chrysler. Mentions Honda Toyota Nissan etc, but no Chrysler. Is this stuff OK?

Thanks in advance.

It most likely is ok. The Nissans use the same Jatco cvt as the Patriots do.

What is the brand name? I have used Valvoline, and just bought a case of Kendall (came out to about 5 bucks a quart)...I'm about ready to do a cvt fluid change and use the Kendall.
Search on Kendall if you want to find that thread for info.

I have used Pentosin CVT1 and Valvoline CVT fluid. Both have fine print on the packaging that mentions "equivalent of Mopar CVTF+4" or something like that. That's what to look for.

The Nissan mention on the label might be ok, since Nissan technically owns JATCO, but it's still worth a second look, just to be safe.

More info on the Kendall cvt fluid:

I bought a case of 12 for $55 plus $12 shipping..coming to about 5.50/qt.
It's the same green color as Mopar and Valvoline.....
