For a while now while driving, my e-brake light would come on and make a chime. This rarely happened so I ignored it but now its chiming like mad randomly while driving and its slowly killing me:soapbox: (parking brake is off and its working normally)

Any ideas on where this stupid sensor for the parking brake is located?

The switch is under the center console where the parking brake handle is.

Check your master cylinder reservoir fluid level. There's a low fluid sensor that will chime and light up the 'brake' light in the dash. As your pads wear, the fluid level drops in the reservoir. The sensor is intended to alert the driver that either a) their pads are getting low and the brakes need inspection or b) there's a leak somewhere and the system needs repair. If the level is full, your problem is elsewhere.

My parking brake is down, fluids topped up, pads and rotors changed but the light is still on. If I pull the brake handle it will chime and flash but doesnt go out when its lowered. Sensor wires on master cylinder are fine as well. Can anyone recommend a DIY video or other on how to change the switch for park brake and exactly where it is. Please. Thanks so much.
