New to the JEEP world

hey everyone, TJ here from greensboro, nc. just bought my 14 jeep patriot a week ago today. been cruising the forum and finally joined up. the patriot is a sport edition with the 2.4l and 4x4. 16" steel wheels and black plastic trim around the bottom. pics are pending and will be in here as soon as they are up.

Welcome! I'm also new to Jeep, got my 2012 just a couple months ago and I really love it!

Did the emblems today

Took a few hours and plasti dipped my emblems today.
Turned out pretty good. Grill is next then maybe the
Wheels till I can get some new ones.

No problems

Nope, surprisingly. It was only about 45-50 degrees today
When I sprayed it. I did find a handy way to get the spots
Inside the letters out. Used a toothpick. Smashed the tip
A lil flat and twirled it and it pulled it right out.

on another note, ive been browsing the forum and I cant get over how out of date some of the posts are. is it really that dead here? ive seen posts from 5 years ago or more. do they not get removed, or archived to a separate area?
